We all experience darkness, whether it is in the skies above us, the movements within us, or the world around us. There are times in life when those forms of darkness coincide. The light may seem far off. How do you find the spiritual energy to search and strive for the light? The words of Jesus, in the Gospels, offer helps. Some of the spiritual wisdom of Saint Ignatius of Loyola also assists. Come for a day of prayer. It includes three brief presentations, each followed by time for personal reflection. There will also be a celebration of the Eucharist, lunch and snacks.
Fr.Philip Shano, SJ will facilitate this weekend retreat.
Philip Shano has been a Jesuit for over 45 years and recently returned to serve at Loyola House, having previously been on the spiritual direction team in the 1990s. Most of his diverse Jesuit ministry has involved retreat, education and formation work rooted in Ignatian spirituality.
