Facilitated by Sue Guttenstein
The Passions for each of the Enneagram types is the way the heart contracts in response to life. When stressed, there is one emotion that dominates our responses, even though we are not often aware of it. We have all 9 passions, but one of them is strongest in us and in many ways, controls us. Bea Chestnut and Uranio Paes call our passion a prison – it’s behind everything we feel and in many ways controls us. It is subtle work to sense into and loosen the grip of our passions.
As we the grip of the Passion loosens, there is a conversion of energy into the Virtue of our type, which is an aspect of our Essence, an aspect specifically affiliated with our type.
There are 3 hours of video teaching and interviews to watch before the workshop. These focus on our Passions. During the workshop itself, participants will have an opportunity to experience how the passion of their type influences their lives. We will also explore how intentionally opening into the virtue of our type provides significant opportunity for growth.
