At the start of Lent, a practical introduction to Ignatian Spirituality
This is retreat is an excellent way to enter into Lent, as it helps you prepare and open your heart and mind to Christ.
This retreat is also a good opportunity for a beginner or an experienced director to gain a heightened awareness of the fundamentals of an Ignatian Retreat or to prepare for Annotation 19 (the Spiritual Exercises in daily life). This year it is being offered online.
In this 5-day thematic retreat you will learn the fundamentals of Ignatian praying. It includes instructional talks, prayer and thematic talks on God’s presence in both our world and our deepest desires. The talks will be available on the Ignatius Jesuit Centre YouTube channel; links to these videos will be sent to you as the retreat progresses.
Individual meetings (Zoom or telephone) with your spiritual director will guide you in prayer as your continue on your unique journey with our loving God.
This 5-day thematic retreat begins the full Spiritual Exercises Experience. It also is a way to prepare for the Spiritual Exercises in daily life. The retreat begins on February 14 @ 7:30pm with a plenary session on Zoom.
Registration deadline is February 8.
