Living with Soul in the Second Half of Life is an interactive workshop, taking place over two weekends (Thursday to Sunday), for people who have entered their older adult years (over 40!), and are noticing subtle whisperings of soul, perhaps stronger desires to go within and new desires beckoned by the horizon of their furthest decades.  The second half of life can be deeply rich and meaningful, especially if we’re able to listen and respond to the subtle promptings of soul.

If the hallmarks of the first half of life are building: building relationships, careers, home and perhaps families, the second half of life wants to lead us toward a different journey: finding meaning, deepening relationships with self and others; and living with wonder and beauty alongside the mystery of death. Being able to respond to the promptings of the second half of life becomes easier as we turn our gaze inward, toward soul, and deepen our understanding of our inner landscape.

Through a variety of depth lenses such as Jung, dreamwork, discernment, type, older adult developmental stages and reflections on the seasons of life, we will explore and deepen aspects of self that are essential to a satisfying second half of life.

Lynn Prentice HBA., B.Ed., M.A., Registered (Clinical) Social Worker, has a private counselling practice in Wiarton, ON.  She is also a Certified Hypnotherapist, Haden (Jungian based) Dreamworker, and a Certified Yoga Teacher.
