Thomas Merton: Searching Again for Wisdom

March 24, 2017 @ 8:00 pm - March 26, 2017 @ 1:00 pm

| $160 – $260

Facilitated by Eric Jensen, SJ

Thomas Merton was a Trappist monk, contemplative hermit, pacifist and peace activist, prolific writer and poet, and a renowned authority on Buddhism.

Arrive early, settle in, help yourself to a monk’s supper of bread & cheese before the talks begin; share with others your love of Thomas Merton, the writer. Following 2016’s popular retreat “Searching for Wisdom with Thomas Merton”, we are offering a NEW retreat weekend. The focus will be on his vocation as a writer. There will be four talks and time for communing with Nature in silence and solitude. Eucharist will be offered each morning, and there will be ample opportunity to explore our 600 acres of land, woods, and creeks.
