This curated collection of contemporary ecopoetry, exploring a particular area of land in southern Ontario, aims to awaken readers to a new awareness of the resilience and beauty of the natural world of which we are part, and thus to encourage hope even in times of great environmental and societal stress.
Poetry In Place features several Guelph poets, including Madhur Anand, Karen Houle, Anna Bowen and Greg Kennedy.
The launch will include readings from several featured poets, refreshments, conversation and sunset-watching. Event is by donation.
