Delve into the sacred nature of the forest in the Old Growth Forest Project. What does it reveal of our individual and collective relationship with creation? What message do the trees have about our interconnected existence with all life?
We will take time to slow down, to be present, and to listen. We will have a one hour lunch break where participants can find washroom facilities (none on site). Participants are welcome to bring a zero waste picnic lunch (picnic tables on site) or pick up something at a nearby restaurant. On our return in the afternoon, there will be time for consolidation and sharing. The day is a mixture of individual and group activities, silence and discussion, walking and stillness, and contemplation and action.
We invite you to a sacred time in the old cedars – a day of opening to the intimacy of our relationship with the natural world. Please note that due to parking restrictions on Cross Creek Blvd., we will gather at Loyola House at 9:30 am to carpool. We will meet at the Cross Creek entrance at 9:45 am and begin our day at the pavilion; break at lunch for one hour and conclude at 3 pm. Join us in an experience of our place in the whole. Be welcomed home.
