The Marden Creek restoration project has been a work in progress for a little over 10 years, and volunteers are now beginning to see strong evidence that their efforts are having a positive impact.
“The trout have returned to the lower part of the creek for the first time in 180 years,” said Martin Tamlyn, of the Ignatius Jesuit Centre’s Old-Growth Forest Project.
