Dear friend, We are so pleased to share with you that the Ignatius Jesuit Centre’s Loyola House will be reopening to on-site retreats, programs and conferences in April 2022. It’s been much too long without your presence! Plans are well underway on how best to reopen so that your return will be safe, nourishing and restorative. The contract with Wellington County for the Loyola House Supportive Temporary Housing Pilot (LHSTAP) will conclude at the end of November 2021. Guelph-Wellington Urban Agriculture Challenge Update
We are incredibly grateful for the big effects of this very practical grant! Thank-you to the myriad of folks collaborating together to implement and fund our project. Here are some fun facts from the year: Community Garden Expansion The new access to water in the Upper Pond field transformed the area into the most productive we have ever seen it! It was beautiful! The new water access services both the new community gardens and the community orchard.
