VIRTUAL – Easter Triduum Retreat

April 1, 2021 @ 4:00 pm - April 3, 2021 @ 1:00 pm

| $125

Virtual presentations for the Easter Triduum will present new opportunities for engaging the Holy Week rituals.

Holy Week has its origin in the dramatic liturgies of the ancient Jerusalem Church: procession with palms; washing of feet; the passion narratives; veneration of the cross; the Easter Vigil with its focus on light in darkness, and rebirth through the water of baptism. Every year we join ancient and modern wisdom to bring these rituals to life. Last year, with churches suddenly closed and the world reeling in the Covid pandemic, we introduced virtual experiences of the Holy Week rituals. In this retreat, we present new opportunities to engage these sacred rituals virtually, and invite you to bring to them the challenges and gifts of our contemporary world as well as your personal life, letting the prayerful symbols and actions embrace your longings.

This retreat begins at 4 pm, Thurs. April 1, and ends at 1 pm, Sat. April 3 (though you may choose to continue your prayer through Easter Sunday morning.)

Please note that space is limited so register early. Deadline to register is March 25.
