A One-Day Retreat
Apply here!
This one-day program helps participants to reflect on their personal experience of the aging process: How do I continue to seek and find God, and to strive to grow…even as my body ages and I see diminishment all around me? What can we learn from Jesus Christ and holy women and men, including St. Ignatius of Loyola? His ways of understanding the movements of our heart will be our guide for the day.
The day consists of presentations, time for personal reflection, interaction with other participants, the celebration of Mass, lunch and snacks. Fr. Philip Shano, SJ will facilitate the day.
Philip Shano has been a Jesuit for over 45 years and recently returned to serve at Loyola House, having previously been on the spiritual direction team in the 1990s. Most of his diverse Jesuit ministry has involved retreat, education and formation work rooted in Ignatian spirituality.
