Rony Lec is one of the world’s leading experts in permaculture and Indigenous knowledge (read more here). He has spent the last 20 years teaching and implementing permaculture throughout the Americas focusing on promoting food sovereignty and preserving biodiversity for the survival of Indigenous communities. Rony recently moved to Guelph to secure the safety of his family. Come hear Rony’s personal experience of living and working with local communities of Guatemala in the areas of justice, organic agriculture, ecology, and Mayan ancestral knowledge.
