August 15, 2019 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm

On Thursday, August 15th at 1:30pm, Wellington-Halton Hills MPP Ted Arnott will be at the Ignatius Jesuit Centre’s Old-Growth Forest project lands to launch the new Ignatius Old-Growth Forest Teaching Pavilion. The new pavilion will provide shelter and a base of operations for the Old-Growth Forest’s Environmental Stewardship programming for local schools and workshops in community-based ecosystem restoration.

MPP Ted Arnott and Wayne White an Ontario Trillium Foundation volunteer, will attend the launch and will formally present the Ignatius Old-Growth Forest project with a plaque to mark the work done as a result of receiving a grant from the Foundation in February 2018.

Roger Yaworski, SJ, Executive Director of the Centre, will be talking about this new program and its expected impact in the community.
